Welcome to AUTUMN’S IN THE AIR…a Fall Tour blog hop! If you are visiting from
Maison de Cinq, I’m so happy you are here!
As you may be aware, our Louisiana temps have been hotter than usual, and it’s felt like summer…until yesterday, it finally felt like FALL! And wouldn’t you know, I waited until the last minute to take the remainder of my photos for this fall tour!? I was so excited, that I opened the doors and turned up the music. The cooler temps put me in the mood for pumpkins and cozy blankets.
So…let me show you around our family room.
Our family room is exactly that…where we snuggle up on the sofas and watch movies, eat popcorn, and work on the computer. It’s a very casual room. We have three sofas- two white and one leather. And we use a vintage chicken crate as our coffee table. For Fall, you’ll notice I use mostly natural items. I love the non-traditional neutral colors. All of the greenery you see came from our pasture…they’re really just weeds. LOL But hey, it’s free decor.
The fringe pillows are from Loloi Rugs. I love adding lots of texture this time of year. Layers of cozy throws…like the white Montauk Throw from Pom Pom at Home, makes for a cozy and welcoming Fall home.
We’ve added several architectural elements and vintage items to our home. I like the worn, country farmhouse style this creates. The walls are Cotton Fluff by BEHR…and makes a nice backdrop for pops of color and vignettes.
I love this time of year! Fall scented candles, warm soup, and a pumpkin spice latte are just some of my favorites that I enjoy this time of year. I’m so thankful for family and friends…and it makes me look forward to the upcoming Holidays!
And if you missed my Fall Farmhouse Table, GO HERE to take a look at a simple Fall table setting.
I’m so happy you joined me on the Autumn’s in the Air blog hop! I’d be honored if you’d leave a comment sharing how you like to decorate for Fall! And remember to head over to the next blog:
