Thanks for visiting my blog today! Our kitchen is all ready for the changing season, with all natural Fall touches. In addition to a few real pumpkins, I have clipped some golden rod from our pasture to make a few arrangements, and hang to dry. Yes…it does cause a few of us to sneeze, so I brought some in for photos and then put it on our porch for fall decor.
I received this fabulous French fruit crate from Elsie Green House and Home…and hung it above the island to dry herbs. Here, I have cut eucalyptus, basil, Russian sage, and golden rod. The golden rod is also in the metal EAT sign. I like to use fresh fruit as decor this time of year. Fresh pears and apples are on the baking station. The candle burning is from CANDELLES, and is the Maple Vanilla Scent …perfect Fall candle!
The Russian Sage is from Greenwood Nursery online shop…and is one of my blog sponsors listed on the sidebar.
My sweet husband built our reclaimed wooden vent hood several years ago, and it’s one of my favorite additions in our home. I love the character it brings to our almost all-white kitchen. The rug is from Ivy and Stone Home, and is from the Magnolia rug line. It adds another pop of fall color. The sink curtain is actually a vintage grain sack; I used clips from IKEA and a tension rod to attach it under the sink.
I love French canning jars! They add a pop of color, and serve as pretty vases too. I got the tall dark green one from Vivi et Margot online shop, as well as the ceramic faisselle. I have found a few ironstone pieces at antique shops or flea markets…it’s one of my favorite collections.
And that’s a rap!
