Hi there!
Just a heads up...there is an incredible GIVEAWAY at the end of this post,
you'll want to be sure and enter :)
So, how do you display ART in your home? I have to admit...I don't really have
any true artwork displayed in our home. I do, however, have pieces that are ART to me.
Such as, our headboard...made from reclaimed barnwood. It serves as
a piece of artwork in our master bedroom. It's definitely a statement piece.

Such as, our headboard...made from reclaimed barnwood. It serves as
a piece of artwork in our master bedroom. It's definitely a statement piece.
So, as I was writing this post, I realized that most of the artistic items in our home
are architectural pieces...like these huge vintage corbels hung in the opening
of our family room.
And, of course, it goes without saying that the vintage door hanging above
our sofa is the main art in our family room.
A pretty pale blue barn door leaned against the wall also serves as artwork...
and looks great with anything hanging from it.
Another artistic focal point, comes from a vintage wooden window frame hanging
above our mantle.
I'm reminded that actually, anything hanging from the wall in your home can
be considered as artwork...a hat, a peg hook rack, and even vintage shutters.
So, what is art to you? How do you display your art pieces in your home?
Now, please continue on for the details of our giveaway:

Cynthia has donated from her private collection a beautiful original painting titled Bridge Near the Bodiam Castle by renown artist Peter Etril Snyder! Valued at $700.00 CAD the 9” x 13” piece will be shipped to the lucky winner unframed.
Here are the artists notes on this beautiful piece: "Over four months in Kent in 1998 made me very conscious of all the red brick building in the southeast area of England. This small bridge is a Victorian structure located near Bodiam Castle. It presents a new and colourful contrast to the softgray/beige of the ancient stone castle. Here in North America it is difficult to think of a building that has survived for one hundred and fifty years as new, but in a land that displays items from Roman times, this bridge is gleamingly new."
