Well HELLO again to all my sweet blogging friends!!
I have missed you all so so much…
Thanks for your emails & facebook inquiries to make sure I’m
still around. We have been on a family vacation :)
Our first stop was Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
This is a photo of my three kids on Fire Fox Mountain.
We rode a bear-crawler and river rapids.
We felt so at home with the farm animals and country atmosphere.
Tennessee made a lasting impression on our family this year…
as we saw sights that took our breath away…the rivers, mountains,
streams, waterfalls, barns, and weather were perfect.
However, the best part of our trip was spending it with a
You may be asking…where are the photos of our time spent with
the Kinser family? Well, we have kept those memories safely tucked
away in our hearts. No need for a camera, just enjoying the moment.
So, when the week came to an end, and we headed back to
Louisiana….we left our hearts in Tennessee :)
Thanks for allowing me to share a bit of our vacation with you…
and I’ll be back soon with some highlights of NYC :)
Blessings

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I adore Tennessee, Becky. The rolling hills. The dancing creeks. The old homes. So very pretty! It was so nice that you and Amy were able to connect again and spend more time together. :) You two have a very special friendship that will be treasured forever. ♥

ReplyDeleteTennessee is a great place to vacation. Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteI just ran across a post on Facebook with your blog site mentioned in it...sooo, I had to come over and take a look. What a surprise to see your post about my home state of Tennessee. I do feel blessed to live in such a beautiful state. Im south of Nashville, though...not very close to the mountains. Im really neeeeding a trip up that way. I love your blog and am now following you. Please visit me at PICKINandPAINTIN.blogspot.com. THANKS.
ReplyDeleteBecky, Saw you featured in a recent issue of Artful Blogging and saw that you were also a Louisiana gal and just had to stop by and check out your blog.
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely and so warm and inviting. I'll definitely be back.
I don't think I've ever heard of Stonewall. We're in the Northeast section of the state near the Ark. line.
Nice to meet you and much happiness to you!
Congratulations on your spotlight in Romantic homes...what an honor!!
ReplyDeleteYour photos have captured the beauty of this part of TN. It's wonderful that you and your family have had this experience. I hope you were able to visit Cades Cove...The meadows are always filled with wild life...
ReplyDeleteWe used to live about an hour from there... On a clear day, you could see the Smokies from our home, outside of Knoxville. Out of all the places we have lived, Tennessee was my absolute favorite! (We lived in Kingsport,TN, too...in the northern eastern corner of the state. Talk about beauty!)
what beautiful pictures of a beautiful vacation! I always love to stop in & read your beautiful blog!! :) chris
