Hey there my friends!!
I’m back….finally. Whew, what a summer! It’s been an interesting one around here! June hit hard with our kitchen remodel, and July flew by with family vacations.
And then there was August…I can’t really tell you much about August, except that it was a blur… and suddenly here we are, well into September!
I guess I was so busy with my family this summer… decorating took a back seat…
However, now I’m ready to get back into the “swing of things”. Last weekend I spent deep cleaning the whole house. This weekend I’ve enjoyed changing some things around.
I found some pretty delicate pink roses on sale at the grocery store. I thought they would be appropriate for a “farewell to summer” post :)
“Mr. Buckets” loves rootbeer in the summer…so I’ve been saving all the cool brown bottles. And I thought they looked nice displayed on my French drying rack.
You may have noticed that I replaced the chicken feeders above the window with a little curtain rod. I kept the same curtains, and just leaned an old weathered wooden frame against the window.
I’m certainly looking forward to autumn approaching… can’t wait to set an autumn table, make pumpkin muffins, and get my boots out :)
I’d love for you to come back real soon and visit again…
I have several vintage items that I will be listing
FOR SALE here on my blog.
So, come back soon, and we’ll chat again :)
Thanks so much for hanging around!
Blessings,

ReplyDeletehugs,
Lovely to see a new post, sad your at the end of your summer, we are early Spring here which is great as soon I will be able to buy Peonies to paint.
ReplyDeleteI lost my mum last month Becky so its pretty tough at the moment as I miss her so much. She has so many vintage things in her house I have been bringing home boxes of things and now I have no room for anything more so having to make decisions about selling some of her things. She actually has enough for me to set up an antique stall so I am thinking of possibly doing that at a local fair.
Glad your doing well and good luck with your business.
Lee :)
So happy to see a new post from you! Love the color of the roses. I'm not quite as eager to say goodbye to summer but pumpkin muffins sound great!
