Bucket of Light

Hey my friends!
Thanks so much for the sweet comments about my last post.
You all know how to make my day :)

I know you are going to think I'm crazy...
but I've changed things around,
AGAIN.

Do you ever go to all the trouble to make something, move cabinets around,
rearrange items, maybe even paint a little,
get it all just so,
and then realize something's just NOT RIGHT.

Is there anyone out there who can relate??

Well, do you remember this photo from my last post? :

(If you missed it, you can read the whole post HERE )
This corner did not feel right to me,
something about the ladder was not what I was looking for.
So, I shopped my house, and pulled this together:

I hung an old wooden peg rack, then hung some goodies.
Here is what it looked like with some fresh white lantana and rosemary from the garden.

Then I decided to make a bucket light.
I've had all necessary items on hand to make one,
just haven't had the time.

(please pay no attention to the popcorn ceiling in the previous photo)

I think I like it.
For now.

My mom handmade the apron for my daughter,
about nine years ago.

I'm thankful for that little apron,
and my mom,
and my life.

Do you like it better now?

I'm joining The Cottage Chick at Make It for Monday.
and
Faded Charm for White Wednesday.
Thanks for hosting, ladies!

Remember, there's a giveaway coming soon,
just taking me a while to get it together :)
Blessings,
Becky C

  36. Just dropping by from Cottage Instincts. I love your vignette, with the rosemary and lantana, but did you know that lantana is poisonous? "All parts of the plant are quite toxic and poisoning may occur year-round, but is most common in summer and fall. Many poisoning cases occur when clippings are thrown into the pasture." [http://www.caf.wvu.edu/~forage/library/poisonous/page10.htm] Just thought I'd pass that on!
