Hey my friends!
I've been wanting to share my Mother's Day gift from my family with you...
An antique buffet!
We found it at one of my favorite local antique malls,
which was going out of business... it's quite sad, I know,
however, that meant everything was half-off :)
Here it is after I painted and sanded...
I was all black when we got it. First, I painted it in BEHR, Spring Hill green.
But I just didn't like how it looked.
So then, I painted another coat in plain white.
And sanded, and sanded, and sanded...
It has some really cool details, like curvy legs and old caster wheels.
For lack of another spot right now, I put in front of our windows in the den.
It's not my favorite spot, but will work until I move things all around
the house trying to find the right place :)
I like how the pops of green show through the white now.
Nothing like being late for a "party"...
But I'm joining Tricia at Photo Feature Friday,
where the theme is WHITE this week.
And I'll be joining Donna at Saturday Nite Special.
And there is still time to join my Spring GIVEAWAY HERE,
you don't want to miss out :)
Have a wonderful weekend, friends!
Blessings

ReplyDeleteHi Becky, I just discovered your blog buckets of burlap and am absolutely in love with your style! I'd love to follow it but there's no follow link on your page and I don't know how to do the fancy url stuff as blogger is trying to instruct! I'm new to blogger and have a blog myself, littlecottagechic. Help! lol, thanks, Jen.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love how you can still see a little of the green. You did such a nice job.
