Last weekend, I was browsing my PINTEREST boards HERE, and got inspired to refresh the dining room. I always love a good vintage hook rack…and thought I’d hang one over our buffet table.
This vintage hook rack came from Chartreuse Pear in Ruston, Louisiana. I moved our big buffet table back to this large wall from the family room. It was serving as a sofa table for several months.
The beautiful large vintage pot and dough bowl came from Ivy and Stone in Bossier City, Louisiana…where I’m excited to announce I’ll be joining their shop crew on Thursdays. So, if you are local, come visit this fabulous farmhouse style shop and say HI! AND, if you aren’t local…that’s OK, they are launching an online shop sometime this summer. These two pieces are in the FOUND collection.
The vintage dough bowl has the most gorgeous hand carved details and is a perfect size for storing all of my grain sacks.
And did you spot those adorable handmade bread boards? They're from an ETSY shop called We Are Caribou. They make the best sandwich boards. Perfect for serving.
Our hydrangeas are still blooming! I’ve had to clip some almost everyday…and the white ones have a pale pink and green hint to them. I use this fabulous market basket from Freckled Hen Farmhouse to gather my fresh flowers in the garden.
If you are new here, you may not know that my husband and brother built this buffet table. They used vintage wood and designed it themselves. And then I painted it. This table has been a great piece for our home.
And the vintage scale? That one came from Canton Trade Days. It’s one of my favorites.
Well, thanks so much for visiting my blog today! I would love for you to take a minute and leave a comment about which room you love to refresh for summer. And if you have any questions about anything you see in my photos, please let me know.

Love it all. That scales is a fabulous find. The table is great and how perfect to create such wonderful vignettes.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, I love how you have styled the rack above your table. Nothing like vintage and antique finds. Thank you for the inspiration.
