Welcome to Farmhouse Friday! And it’s ALL ABOUT APPLES!!
I’m joining the sweet “Farmhouse Friday” team…and at the end of this post, you can check out their lovely APPLE ideas & inspiration :)
Are you looking for an inexpensive way to decorate or entertain as we transition from late summer into Fall? Apples just may be your best friend :) They certainly provide that “pop of color” on a table or countertop…so, I’m sharing some of my favorite ideas for using apples in your decor and a couple of recipes too.
Of course, the apple recipes are endless! I found this Apple Pancake Recipe on Pinterest from Julia’s Album…and they were tasty :)
Decorate with apples? Why not? I do love the pop of red for Autumn…especially on the mantle. And my sweet kiddos painted apple prints to create this apple bunting.
For a simple centerpiece, I gathered some fresh herbs in an ironstone bowl. Then I just simply placed the apples around the center. Apples look pretty just sitting at each place setting too.
One of my favorite breakfasts for Fall is this Apple Cinnamon Bread from The Happier Homemaker. And while it’s baking, your house will smell like Autumn exploded inside :)

There are just about as many ways to use apples as there are varieties. What about you? Do you enjoy using apples in your decor? What’s your favorite apple recipe?
I shared my apple-inspired table setting yesterday on Periscope...follow me @bucketsofburlap to see live video streams around my farmhouse.
