Blueberry Oatmeal Lemon-Glazed Cookies

Yes, I know that’s a mouthful of a title, isn’t it? And it’s a mouthful of goodness, too :)

You HAVE to try this sweet recipe!

 

 

I found the recipe HERE at a Happy Food Dance. Jessica has a really great blog, with fabulous recipes. And her food photos are so pretty and styled perfectly.

 

 

 

These cookies have the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The blueberries, oatmeal, and lemon glaze make a tasty trio. 

 

 

 It calls for 3 cups of oatmeal…which sounds like a lot, but they have a rich, nice texture.

After mixing the lemon glaze, I dipped a few baked cookies into the glaze. Then I drizzled the others with the glaze.

I encourage you to test out this dessert with your family…I know my crew loved them. A great dessert or after-school snack to usher in Spring :)
