Happy Easter

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead... (NIV) I Peter 1:3

Easter 5

Happy Easter to all of you…my sweet blogging family :)

Easter 4

My kids LOVE dyeing Easter eggs! And this year, we experimented with the natural egg dyes.  Oh, we had so much fun! We used directions from Lara at Air Kissed…and the eggs turned out beautifully--so pastel and pretty.

Easter 6

We used beets, blueberries, turmeric, and red cabbage. So easy, and so fun!

Easter 7

I also wanted to share a simple place setting I used for a family reunion luncheon.  Wrapped chocolate bunnies set inside each glass served as each place card. My dad’s family came,  and we had so much fun together eating cucumber sandwiches and broccoli salad. It was so nice to visit and catch up :)

Easter 8

I found the beautiful frayed napkins at Janet’s Home Goods Alacarte ETSY shop. They are a gorgeous natural color. I love them, Janet! They go with Everything :)

Easter 9

Well, friends, I hope you enjoy a lovely day with your family celebrating Easter and all of your special traditions.  I am thankful for each of you and appreciate you visiting me here on my blog!

Blessings

  8. Aw they turned out so pretty! I like how you have them displayed on the frayed cloth. I loved the way my kitchen smelled when I was making these eggs. :) Your table settings are so cute! Thank you so much for the link sweetie!

I just read this post. I have been so busy with work I haven't been able to enjoy my favorite blogs. Thank you so much for mentioning my etsy shop and for including my napkins in the beautiful photo of your table. I am so sorry I have just gotten around to thanking you. I am so happy you like them. Thanks so much.
