Easy Roast Chicken

Hey my friends!

How’s your week going so far? Great, I hope :)

Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my

November table

I’m wondering…are you always searching for tasty, easy

meals to prepare for your family during the week?

Oh me too! And I have found so so many at

The Pioneer Woman!

Gosh, don’t you just LOVE Ree? She just may be

my long-lost red-headed sister I never had. LOL

Anyway…she has an excellent, easy Roast Chicken Recipe

on her site.  I’ve made it twice now- and my family LOVES it!

I wanted to share it with you…

It calls for fresh rosemary, lemons, butter, and

getting your hands a little messy :)

WARNING: While the chicken is roasting…

your family may believe for a moment that you are

Ree Drummond cooking on the Food Network

because you will get out your camera to take photos

of the rosemary & lemon zest and your kitchen will

smell like you own a fancy restaurant and they

will buy you extra Christmas presents

because they think you may be the next Martha Stewart :)

No, really.

It smells heavenly.

And if I can roast a chicken, anyone can…

Love to you all, my fellow chicken roasters.

If you try it, let me know :)

Blessings

  2. Enjoyed your post. I love to use truffle butter on my roasted chicken or turkey. Makes it so moist. I agree too that I believe the red head Pioneer Women is my long lost sister too. Love her.

  8. That chicken looks delicious, Becky. Wish you would have fixed it while you were here and made my kitchen smell like Ree's and made me look like Martha Stewart so I could get more Christmas gifts. :)

  9. This recipe looks easy and after all the great things you said about it I feel like I have to make it. To be honest the last three meals that I have cooked have been a flop. Maybe this one will redeem me. Love your table setting.

  14. Roast chicken is one of my favorites and yours looks amazing! I joke that I learned how to cook from The Pioneer Woman (but really it's not a joke... it's the truth)! :-)
