New Treasure

I have a new "old" treasure!

My sweet mother-in-law has picked up on the fact that I love "old" things...

So she passed this Hamilton Beach Malt Maker on to me!!
I'm so very, very thankful she trusts me with this sweet treasure.

It has been in the family for many many years,
and it still works!
The seafoam green color is so unique.

Of course, if you know me,
finding just the right place for it wasn't easy.

But it's found a home here on the "old" cabinet,
next to all the other "old" things...

Until I find another place to put it ;o)

I'm joining Show And Tell Friday
and
and
Be sure to check out all the good stuff.

Blessings,
Becky C

  1. First of all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that "old" cabinet. It is just perfect. I also absolutely love the way you have it all fixed up. I would take it just as is, door open and all, and just bring it right into my kitchen and sit it down. How about a trade of some sort... :)

Secondly...we had a milkshake maker just like that growing up. I had forgotten all about it. What a sweet memory that was just brought up in my heart. I need to ask my mom whatever happened to it. If she did, I don't think I would have near as perfect a place to display it as you do. Great eye, my friend.

  9. Becky,

This is my first visit to your sweet blog via Dipity Road but I will be returning. What a treasure your mother-in-law is to give you the antique malt maker. Your vignettes are beautiful and it looks wonderful displayed on your old cabinet.
