Hi friends! How is everyone? I sure hope you have found some time to have fun & relax this summer!
After our Barn Sale, we have had some much needed “down time” :)
Today I’m sharing the first part in our House Tour series- our Dining Room. It’s been quite a while that I’ve shared any rooms…so I decided to freshen up, and start with the dining room :) Beware, there are lots of photos ahead…
A few updates for those who are new here at Buckets of Burlap:
My husband is an excellent carpenter :) He built our farmhouse table & bench, the long buffet table, and he built the mantel around the fireplace. I just do the painting…our walls have two coats of “Cotton Fluff”, by BEHR. You may be wondering why there is a fireplace in our dining room…well, when we had our house built with an open floor plan, this room served as our family room. However, we could never get our furniture to work right in this space. Therefore, we switched this area to serve as the dining room, and it works well for us. Turns out, this is probably my favorite room to decorate :)
Next up in our House Tour…
the Farmhouse Kitchen
Thanks so much for sticking with me through tons of photos :)
And if you have an extra few minutes…please take time to listen to our girl’s exciting musical opportunity:
Blessings to you all !
wow!! it is like a dream room out of a magazine..

I really really love this. Did I read some where that your home is a modular/mobile home? I cant seem to remember. We are currently living in a mobile home and are trying to give it a farmhouse look. It is so hard to find inspiration in doing this. Your home really inspires me! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove your home Becky!! Absolutely beautiful!!~
ReplyDeleteAnd best wishes to your sweet girls!!
