Christmas Dining

Merry Christmas Eve, my friends!

I hope you are enjoying this sweet day with family…

I haven’t had a chance this week to post our dining room all set for Christmas dinner.  So, here are some photos for you :

Christmas bistro chairs

Christmas bakers twine

Christmas branch place card

Christmas burlap stockings

Christmas centerpiece

It sure was fun to set our new farm table, built by Mr. Buckets :)

Christmas chair decor

I used zinc name plates atop a trimming of Frasier fur branches for a rustic touch.  And added the cranberries for a splash of color.  A piece of parchment paper under the branch keeps the plate clean.

Our table is set for just us five… our sweet kids on the bench side together.  So, their place settings are fun and whimsical with lots of Christmas color.

Christmas sheet music cone

One little Christmas craft I finished this week was wrapping cones in sheet music.  Then I added the greenery and candy cane.  It is hung from the bistro chair with bakers twine.

And that’s the dining room.  Now, off to enjoy a wonderful dinner :)

Have a very Merry Christmas!  Hugs to you all from Louisiana!

Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Blessings

  1. Oh my precious friend, your dining room is just beautiful. It's exactly what I would envision it being. I am so glad you shared today so that I could feel like I was there with you just a little bit. Your mantel is superb and that table is FABULOUS that Mr. Buckets made. OH MY!!! We need to hire him out. :)

I LOVE YOU ALL and wish you the merriest Christmas ever. My heart is there in Louisiana with you even while I am here in Tennessee.

  18. Beautiful Christmas vignettes, your an extremely talented person, styling and photography and your getting better and better. May God bless you and your family greatly this year.

I may have to find out what camera your using as I am looking around at the moment to upgrade my digital point and shoot to something with a wider angled lense.

  19. Hi Becky! Love your blog! I noticed that you said your husband built your farmhouse table. My husband and I recently built one of our own and I was just curious if you sealed your table top with anything to protect it because it has such a great natural look. Our next plan is to seal ours with poly but i just dont want to ruin it by adding a glossy sealer to it...so any advice would be appreciated! Thanks,Kalen
