Simple Summer Table

Hi there my friends! Welcome to my blog!

I’m so glad you’re here!

Today I am sharing how I created a simple summer table setting.

I used my own ironstone and fresh flowers…paired with napkins & a table cloth from

Rough Linen.

I wanted this table to be simple, with a summery feel. I made it casual, with the napkins just lying softly next to the plates.

Rough Linen offers these beautiful Orkney Napkins in White FOUND HERE. I added small bread boards atop each place setting.

This is the Orkney table cloth in White FOUND HERE, which has a beautiful elegant, yet casual style. There are several other colors available as well.

Don’t you just love white table settings…it makes all the flowers and wood just pop. I also used mixed match silverware.

The flowers are a mix of lavender, dusty miller, and phlox.

The Rough Linen Apron FOUND HERE is perfect for working in the garden, or in the kitchen. I hung it from the vintage ladder leaning against the wall in the dining room.

Our little English bulldog, Jovi B had to come in and check out what was going on. She loves to get in on the photo shoots.

I added a vintage bucket with lavender at the end of the table.

This is the kind of table I love gathering around with my family. Not too fancy…just perfect for a summer night inside, out of the heat.

Have you been setting summer tables lately? I’d love to hear about it…

(This post is a product review for ROUGH LINEN, and they provided the napkins, table cloth, and apron…however, opinions are all my own.)

  2. Becky, how do you get your linen to look so fluffy? Love the calm I feel when I visit here. The art fire screen is beautiful! Unusual and subtle and yet it pops!

  4. Oh I adore linen! I started using linen about 15 or more years ago and the collection continues! I love sleeping in it and wearing it....and of course using it on the table! The more it is washed the better it is and better still if you realize it doesn't have to be perfectly pressed....
    It is the perfect imperfection!
    Love your table setting!

  7. Very simple and rustic. Looks like you could just toss the tablecloth in the washer and dryer, shake it, and put it back on the table. Luv!
