Christmas Details on Farmhouse Friday

Did you have a wonderful Thanksgiving? We enjoyed being with family, and we have so much to be thankful for. I’m grateful to all of you for visiting my blog…thanks so much for following along.

Let’s dive into the Christmas Holidays with Farmhouse Friday. So, whether you’ve finished decorating, or you’re just getting started…my hope is that you’ll find some inspiration here :)

I’m sharing how I add touches of farmhouse Christmas around our home with greenery…because it’s all in the details, right? We are blessed to have several cedar trees here on our land…and I cut branches to use at Christmas time.

The grainsack stockings are perfect for hanging rosemary or evergreens. I hung them on my French bottle drying rack. And don’t you love baking this time of year? Add a sprig of rosemary to a platter of home baked goods for a festive touch.

Oranges and greenery add a pop of fresh color and make the kitchen smell amazing. Fill ironstone pitchers with rosemary or pine and place near the sink.

I like to wrap a bundle of cinnamon sticks with a ribbon. And of course, I love to use vintage pieces during the Holidays to display items in the kitchen.

For a festive, natural table setting, add a cinnamon stick, sprig of rosemary and twine to cloth napkins.

And that’s just a few ways you can add Farmhouse Christmas details to your home with a little greenery. Next week, I’ll share a full Christmas tour of our home. If you’d like to view our 2014 Christmas tour GO HERE.
