I believe in having fresh flowers on our table inside…it’s one of my favorite decorating tips. Candles and fresh flowers.
When I grow up, I want to be a florist ;) I love cutting all types of blooms and arranging them just so for little centerpieces. I thought three little goblets would look pretty full of flowers.
So, I cut Spanish lavender, sage, silver mound, wisteria, red buds, verbena, dusty miller, rosemary & catnip. I love the silvery tones from the sage, dusty miller and silver mound.
Filling the goblets with water, I just started added a few cuttings at a time, until each one appeared overflowing.
Wouldn’t these make pretty centerpieces for a bridal shower or wedding?
Of course, you can use whatever plants are growing in your garden to make a centerpiece. These are just some of my favorites from our garden :)
What’s growing in your garden? Do you bring in fresh flowers to dress your table?
Remember, you can follow me on INSTAGRAM HERE where I post photos daily :)
Also, please check back on Thursday, for the first reveal of #salvageswagger with the Repurpose Design Series…
It's all about bringing new life to old things! I’ve joined a team of 8 talented bloggers who will each salvage an item from the flea market or thrift store..but we can only spend $20! We'll reveal our transformations on April 30. Of course, we want you to participate! We'll challenge all of you to salvage something and choose one winner for the best repurposed item beginning May 4th...and every 3 weeks reveal a new salvaged item of our own. We hope this inspires you to add some #salvageswagger to your home!
Blessings

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea to use goblets, Becky. You already are a florist for sure! Love that tablecloth, too.
