We have been getting buckets of rain here lately…when a large part of the nation is covered in snow…our town has signs of Spring everywhere :) I am so READY for Spring. One wonderful thing about all the rain is that our lavender is starting to bloom already. Yes. It is still February. But we have barely had any winter. I brought a few clippings of the lavender inside to add some green to the mantle. Here are a few pics from around the dining room…
I hope everyone stays safe and warm this weekend!
Thanks so much for visiting me today!
Blessings
Happy weekend darling....love Ria...xxx...

PS: Can't wait to sit down and read the Book!
Lovely! I love the rustic/french look of your home! It is exactly what I want! How about you fly up the coast and help me style this place! I am jealous of the springtime, as we have another 2 months to go, and ANOTHER snowstorm on its way! Our lavender (30 plants) has been crushed with the unusual snowfall, and I am hoping it rebounds. LOVE your blog :)
ReplyDeleteI love your home. I could so easily move right in! I am a lucky winner. Thanks cant wait to read also. God is great to me. I am blessed. Thanks so much!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can smell the lavender right now. Sigh ~ it is still snowing here and we are supposed to get freezing rain. But, I am trying to putter around and muster up some spring inspiration ;-)
ReplyDeleteHello Becky! It's so cosy and beautiful in your home! I wish you a lovely weekend! With love, Geli
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners. It is cold and snowy here today but I think rain is just as bad. Beautiful post. It looks like you are going to have to not allow anonymous comments to get rid of the spammers- They are all such idiots-just my humble opinion- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love the sprigs of Rosemary, I have just used some in a tall French jar in my mums kitchen as I have finally finished decorating it and it is now sadly up for sale, a really tough time for me but it looks lovely and I know she would approve of the fresh decoration.
ReplyDeleteYour home looks wonderful as usual and I love the way you change things around to keep interest in your home.

So pretty Becky! We haven't had much of a winter down here in Florida, either, and that is just fine by me!! I have lived here most of my life, and am finally to the point that I just LOVE the climate, and am not fond of having to layer clothing, and cover up my plants!
ReplyDeleteYour mantel looks beautiful, Becky, with the lavender and mercury glass. Everything is stunning as usual. You know that I love all that you create.
ReplyDeleteLove and miss you.
I just love your style! Here in Sweden we have still lots of snow wfere I live.....Can´t wait to go to Provence in 3 weeks! (Yes, I know I´m a lucky devil!)
ReplyDeleteLove your home and the Lavender looks great and I am sure smells great too. I think we are all anxious for spring and especially me since we are moving and I need to have a moving sale to downsize.
ReplyDeleteHop on over to my blog and check out my give away and leave a comment.
Have a great week and keep thinking spring :)
Nancy
Do you ever cook with it Becky? You can substitute is for rosemary and it's delicious...and considering we just got 4" of snow, spring doesn't look soon over here :)
