Kitchen Update

Hey my friends!  Happy Monday morning!

How was your Mother’s Day?

I hope you made wonderful memories with your family…

chippy columns

I just wanted to show you a couple of photos of our open hutch.

Remember, Mr. Buckets surprised me with a kitchen re-do

for my birthday?  Well…it’s coming together, finally.  This weekend

we were able to make quite a bit of progress.

We still have to paint cabinet doors, attach trim, and resize

a vintage screen door for the pantry.

We’re working on it during evenings & weekends…

makes for a slow process, but it will be worth it :)

I can’t wait to share it all with you!

Please join in my "Southern Summer Giveaway" here.

And you still have two days to

  14. How did I miss this post? You need to let me know when you have posted.

Love it all!!!! Can't wait to see more. I know you guys are tired, but you are right about how worth it it will be. Everything you and Mr. Buckets touch, turns out beautiful and perfect. Of course, now Beth is catching up with him in the carpentry department.

  18. Becky,
WOW this looks great. Can't wait to see it finished. It is quite a process isn't it.I just finished painting my cabinets.I still have some finishing touches to do.But I really love how nice, bright and open that is.I know your pantry will look amazing with a screen door.I have often thought about doing it.But I am afraid ours would never look neat enough LOL.
