A Cabinet from Laurie Anna’s

Hey my friends!

While my friend, Amy was visiting, we took a trip to the Canton Flea Market.

We almost died of heat exhaustion.  But we found some really great things!

I got this wonderful gray-blue, chippy cabinet from Laurie Anna's Vintage Home.  You know, I get lots of things from her…. even the chicken feeder shown below.  She offers such unique things in her shoppe.  And I get so inspired by her creative ways to put rooms together.  When you leave there, you want to go home and re-do everything :)

The blue toolbox came from Canton.  I’ve been looking for one.

One cool thing about this cabinet, is that it has slider-style doors for the top.  However, I just wanted it opened as display shelving.  I’ll show you later what I did with the slider doors :)

You see I’m adding a little color here and there?  Those blues and greens are really finding their way into this little farmhouse lately….

  16. Well aren't you just the sweetest thing! That cabinet looks just wonderful in your kitchen Becky, isn't that the best color? I can't wait to see what you do with the doors, they are so unique.

I was so bummed that I missed you and Amy on Thursday, had to run see about some antiques before the vendor left and tried to hurry back, wanted to take you to see the new farmhouse! I hope Amy gets to come back with you this Fall! Did you get to go to Lonestar?

Always so nice to hear from you, see you soon my sweet friend! ~LA

  30. Hi Becky! I just found your blog and I LOVE it!!! You are so talented! I love what you did with the chicken feeder to hold your plates...I might have to steal that idea! If you find another chicken feeder and want to sell it, it has to come home to me!! :) I just started a decorating blog myself and I see that we have a lot of the same tastes! I look forward to following your blog! Can't wait to see what you post next!!!
