Hey my friends!
I hope Spring has found it's way to your part of the world!
It is Spring Break here in our little area of the South,
and it's gorgeous weather :)
Today, I want to share my freshly painted dining room table,
and how I incorporated burlap with various outdoor items,
to create a garden themed dining room.
(Some of these items will be for sale in my shop soon.)
So, come take a peek at what I've been working on...
The table is now finished!
My dining table used to look like this:
it was cream with the wooden top. It looked dingy with all the white.
So, here it is now:
I added two coats of white paint and sanded generously.
I also picked up two old folding chairs from an estate sale.
They both had "honest paint" with chippiness, which matched perfectly.
I used several items from LaurieAnna's Shoppe as decor for my garden
themed table setting...
Such as, the white lace napkins, French clothespins, zinc nameplates,
bottle drying rack,
and the French burlap rug, which I used as a table runner.
Some items which will be for sale in my shop soon are:
chicken wire cloches, monumental garden decor,
vintage bottles and molds,
lavender tinted bottles,
old handwritten letters,
buckets,
vintage garden tools,
and a few burlap items, of course :)
I had to add this sweet garden poem on the mega chalkboard
on my buffet table.
I also added small peat pots to my iron chandelier above the table.
I found lavender to plant in my garden :)
I will share garden photos in another post.
And lastly, my new favorite find: an old rickety ladder in a gorgeous green.
But I will save those photos for next time, too.
I hope you get a little Spring fever from my garden themed
dining room.
I am joining some of my favorite parties this week:
and
Thanks for hosting, ladies :)
Thanks for hanging in there through so many photos!
Have a wonderful week!
Blessings

Your room looks so inviting and I bet any guests that come will feel more than welcome. I wish I had a bigger dining room (or just a bigger house) It is almost impossible to do anything to make it look welcoming.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I will get some better ideas when spring actually gets here :)
