Hey my friends!
I hope you are enjoying your week, and getting some sunshine :)
I was so inspired by these cute Beach Cottage Clay Tags,
that I wanted to try making a few myself.
So, I bought a NO-BAKE craft porcelain.
Air-dry, made this a breeze... LOL.
Rolled it out with a rolling pin.
Used cookie cutters to cut some heart shapes,
in honor of the upcoming Valentine's Day .
Then I added a few words with vintage typewriter stamps.
I used a tiny straw to make the hole.
And even a tiny heart for the BLOOM tag.
Crafting is not my specialty, but these were so easy...
the kids will probably make some soon :)
Did you notice?
On my sidebar, I've added a new little button.
I'M OPENING AN ONLINE SHOP!
I can not tell you exactly when it will be up and running,
but it is definitely in the works.
I'll keep you posted :)
Blessings
Becky C
Okay, even though you have it going on so much better than me in the home decor department, I have to tell you how much alike we are. I am also making clay tags and actually they are upstairs drying. I also began praying yesterday about doing an ETSY shop. I even talked to my mom today about doing some sewing for it. I would love to do the shopping for awesome vintage pieces and let her do some handmade things. (since I can't sew) I would love for you to shoot me an email sometime and tell me your thoughts on what you are doing. I have just barely begun researching.
ReplyDeleteI love your tags! I also also soaking some of mine in tea afterwards to darken them a little.
O Happy Day, my friend.
I'm back...
ReplyDeleteOk, Becky, I just took the tour of your home, garden, and farm and I just fell in love completely. Everything is beautiful inside and outside. I love two specific cabinets in your house. One in the kitchen and the other in your school room. I love all of your curtains. Like I have said before, I think I love it all.
The after pictures are fantastic!!!
The outside of your home is gorgeous. Your flowers were so pretty this summer. Your attention to detail is spot on.
I also love the chickens and coop. You know I love my fresh eggs.
When you do find time to do all you do. Your home is beautifully fixed, the outdoors is awesome and I know your children are being taught in such a creative way. And, now...a shop. Girl...rub off on me a little.
I just reread this post and boy, I think you can tell I am tired. I rambled a bit too much.
Good night...
Gorgeous, I've been wanting to make some of these. Love your smaller heart cutout. Wonderful:)
