Homemade Gift Ideas

Hey my friends!
It's gift-giving time.
My favorite gifts to give are homemade goodies, straight from the heart :)
Here are a few ideas to consider, especially if you like fresh fruits for the Holidays.

A Cranberry Wreath

Even little hands can pitch in!
Just cut a piece of steelwire, which is flexible, and string on
fresh cranberries.

Add your favorite ribbon to cover the wire.

The varied colors of cranberries are amazing.
Some almost pink, others deep dark red.

Maybe a good gift for teachers or neighbors.

Of course, twine is a great choice, too.

You could also use apples for gifts.
Consider placing one in a little box or cheap bucket,
then adorn with fresh rosemary or greenery.

Buckets of Rosemary

Just cut out a square of burlap to cover the store-bought container.
I got these quart rosemary plants at Home Depot for $3.50 each.
Add a little ribbon, to make a semi-homemade aromatic gift!

Well, there are so many homemade gift ideas out in blogland right now.
I just wanted to share a few, too.
Please take a moment to check out this homemade hot chocolate recipe.

Gifts don't have to be elaborate or expensive,
it's the thought that counts, right?
What I enjoy most during the Holidays is making memories with my kids.
What a better way to do this, than homemade gifts and goodies.
I hope you're making some of your own this Christmas.

Blessings,
Becky C

  11. Great Ideas for gifts. I'm thinking of making a couple of the cranberry wreaths for my neighbors.....and maybe a few for myself as well. Just wondering if they will dry nicely? Or is it a one time decoration???

  12. What an aromatic gift! I went outside today and cut some lavender and other herbs to add to some rose bouquets that the cold hasn't gotten yet.

  13. Why is it that everything you do looks just perfect to me?

I love the cranberry wreaths. So dainty and pretty. And, the rosemary plants are great with the burlap.

My girls and I actually made all homemade Christmas cards this year. We crafted about seventy cards and sent them out. So fun.
