Simple Sign

I've really been wanting to try my hand at sign making.
So, I took an old board and painted it.
I covered it with a pale gray first, then used a white with bronze glaze mix
and applied with a damp cloth.
It turned out pretty good... simple.

This year I've decided simple is easy.
I am down sizing with the fall decorating, and just keeping it simple.
The old dough bowl is now full of gourds with a white pumpkin.

Simple is good.
How are you decorating for FALL? Simple, or all-out?

Check out other Fall scenes at Seasonal Sundays.

P.S. I can't wait to show what else we've been up to...
We ordered some chicks from My Pet Chicken
and we are getting ready!

Have a wonderful Sunday!
Blessings,
Becky C

  10. Absolutely gorgeous. I love the tone on tone. Those gourds are just gorgeous and I especially love the old rusted scale, it adds such character.

We first do Halloween and go all out, then simpler for Fall and Thanksgiving. I love yours.

  11. Love your sign! I'm really thinking that you need to bring your kids to TN and help me out with some home projects. We will let the kids teach themselves for the day and you and I can rearrange and fix things up. How about it?
